Tell us a little about LYT Consulting Group?
LYT Consulting Group was co-founded by Amanda Rodriguez and TJ Nance, CPA with the desire to serve clients to overcome challenges, innovate and adapt, and take advantage of opportunities to better communities. Our firm shines a “LYT” helping our clients see what is possible.
Both founding partners spent years in their careers at Fortune 500 companies, governing bodies, and global consulting firms working in areas like accounting, finance, risk, audit, program and project management, strategy, and process improvement while building strong teams and achieving impressive results.
We seek to understand the challenges, pain points, and opportunities our clients are facing and use that understanding and our unique skillset to create tailored solutions.

We provide a broad range of services under five core offerings. These include strategy and process excellence, program and project leadership, organizational effectiveness, accounting and finance, and risk mitigation and management.
Strategy and Process Excellence:
- Strategic Planning – LYT reviews your current position within your business environment, prioritizes your objectives, and develops a strategic plan with goals and key performance indicators (KPI’s) to unite your organization and clarify responsibilities.
- Process Design and Alignment – Review current processes against the strategic plan to ensure alignment.
- Process Optimization – Implement measures for continuous process improvement and optimization, including data analytics and visualizations.
- Strategic Delivery – Install practical methods for process management and governance to help sustain elevated operational performance.
Program and Project Leadership:
- Tactical Alignment with Strategic Plan – Review potential projects with those already underway, based on their alignment with the strategic plan. Create a project portfolio prioritization, rationalization, and right-sizing plan. Prioritize resource allocation for initiatives tied to goals and objectives.
- Program Management – Evaluate the current state and envision enhanced ways of working. Create a project management group with the right subject matter expertise.
- Project Life Cycle Management – Provide supplemental support for projects already in process were it becomes evident resources are lacking, timelines will not be met, or deliverables will not be completed.
Portfolio Oversight and Governance – Implement a governance model that establishes accountability and ownership. Dynamically manage portfolio initiatives. Keep leadership updated on performance and milestones.

- Organizational Structure and Design – Build and restructure teams to improve efficiency, stimulate collaboration, and maximize value.
- Change Management – Design and oversee an actionable plan for driving change and achieving strategic goals.

- Audit Finding Resolution – Support with operational and financial audit findings to help organizations achieve resolution. This includes determining the root cause of the deficiency, designing and implementing a remediation plan, and managing the effectiveness of any process or control related changes to prevent recurrence.
- Interim Executive Services – Our experience in accounting and finance leadership roles enable us to step in and fill unexpected gaps in leadership when they arise to make sure teams continue to support the organization’s strategic initiatives.
Risk Mitigation and Management:
- Internal Audit – We help organizations of all sizes assess the effectiveness of their internal audit function, supplying a detailed action plan that validates their conformance and successful practices and identifies opportunities for improvement between the current and desired states
- Enterprise Risk Management – Ensure the right foundation is in place to meet the new and increasingly complicated markets. - SOX Compliance – Establishing a SOX compliance program requires planning and scoping. If a company is planning an IPO or has recently gone public, LYT can create and guide the company through a risk-based approach, laying the foundation for successful and sustainable SOX compliance.
- Internal Controls Optimization – Review company procedures, assess potential risks, and develop plans for integrating or enhancing effective internal controls.
