SALONLAB&ME, A NEW B2B HAIR CARE BRAND FROM HENKEL

The debut of SalonLab&Me, a new salon brand owned by Henkel that combines hairdresser expertise with a digital experience to provide clients with hyper-individualized hair care suggestions based on their hair type, has been announced by Schwarzkopf Professional, a division of Henkel.

A hair stylist will provide consultations using the SalonLab Smart Analyzer, an analysis equipment that uses an infrared sensor to examine hair at the molecular level. After that, the analyzer offers tailored product suggestions that may be further customised with a variety of fragrances, the client’s name, and their chosen label colour.

Thanks to an online store that is solely linked to salons, commissions for each order completed by clients, whether done in the salon or between visits

“The mega trends of personalization and data-driven innovation are rapidly evolving, and we at Henkel are continuously working on new products, business models, and ideas to create meaningful and substantial experiences and innovations for our customers and consumers,” says Michael Nilles, Chief Digital and Information Officer at Henkel. With the introduction of SalonLab&Me, we are enhancing our D2C capabilities and providing our customers with more value. But even more than that: By utilising RAQN, our digital business platform, to power our professional hair care experience, we were able to launch a new business model and get closer to the hair care of the future.
