SiriusMindshare: Redefining Success for Small Business AI Solutions
In an exclusive interview with Biz Tech Outlook, SiriusMindshare Labs LLC's founder discusses the company's mission to revolutionize small business AI solutions. Leveraging decades of experience, SiriusMindshare aims to empower entrepreneurs with innovative AI marketing applications, bridging the gap between technology and small businesses.
What is SiriusMindshare, and what inspired the story to start the company?
Leveraging more than two decades of experience in software engineering and data science, I established SiriusMindshare Labs LLC, a research and development (R&D) organization concentrating on artificial intelligence (AI) & generative AI solutions. Recognized as an ideation lab, my team focuses on serving small to mid-sized businesses, assisting them in various industries by developing AI marketing applications to solve various business issues. Specifically, we focus on optimizing email marketing with Generative AI with our custom cutting- edge solution.
I started this company to bring AI to an under-served market to leapfrog the country in AI. The inspiration stems from Oracle suite of products that serve the larger enterprises but ignore very small ones. Additionally, my doctoral work at Purdue lays the foundation platform for making such an initiative possible.
Our mission has been, “An ideation lab digitizing the small to medium ventures”, where we like to tout the small business as an exciting and new endeavor filled with surprises that needs AI assistance.
What products and services does your company provide?
ContAIn Email AI, is a data free SMB AI product for less from Siriusmindshare LLC. Our email AI solution can be used to launch and optimize email campaign performance of creatives like subject lines & images using our web and mobile apps.
Specifically, we can –
- Create subject lines & track performance.
- Create and optimize digital AI content on the fly.
- Analyze content for suitability and effectiveness, etc.,
We can turbo charge email effectiveness as customers share their data using our custom integrations. Our work is driven by research at Purdue University.
What challenges have you faced along the way?
The couple of the most important elements of a start-up is to figure out product market fit and finding a suitable business model to make profits. We experimented with a lean development methodology over 1.5 years to experiment and test what the market wants. We developed MVPs of AI models and some were refined or dropped to suit the market. Secondly, the correct business model was quite a challenge and we found it’s tough to serve a market that wants everything at lower value. We brought in new business innovations like pay-per-use using gamification of features via points in both web and mobile channels. We integrated with AI third parties to amortize their usage. Additionally, we limited the service layer with rate limiting to accommodate smaller commodity infrastructure to lower costs. Finally, we tapped into the gig labor economy in the software industry all over the world to lower overhead.
What significant changes have you made in your industry?
Marketing applications typically cater to only larger enterprises. Even if they serve the smaller enterprises, there is limited handholding. We are a product-based company along with a subscription agency to the SMB (Small to Medium Business). We are the pioneer of the agency model in the market.
We work with self-governed small businesses with limited marketing, sales or automation tools. especially those make digital or physical products, provide services, build software, support retail, file taxes, manage legal issues or such online or offline. Our contAIn founded on proven enterprise AI technology and led by a visionary leader, who understood the difficulty in optimizing the business functions like sales, marketing, product etc. for a SMB. Instead of trudging through a tool that didn’t fit, we built contAIn to solve the pain points of businessmen at the right price.
Give us a brief overview of your company and its foundational pillars.
Our foundation pillars are innovation, quality and cost. We are serving a market that needs education, service and need to hold their hands at a price that appeals to them. We have built contAIn in portable framework and it has indulged with solid research at Purdue university. Our products have been licensed by MIT under open-source framework. Finally, we offer free betas for SMB customers to try both the web and mobile at zero monthly subscriptions initially.
What goals have you set for the future?
We would like to spice up our market in various geographic locations like any other top MNC’s. We are planning to grow largely and compete with premier agency’s by create a value for our products from the base lane of location to global locations. We are in the process of sprucing up our AI, which offers with more innovative features.
How does your company promote workforce flexibility, and what is your role in it?
Our workforce is remote and working on cutting edge solutions. We have a global footprint including India and Pakistan. We are also a trusted partner with Northeastern University to leverage their Silicon Valley campus for experimentation and interns.
